My PHILOSOPHY . . . to photograph is to be a silent witness, ever present yet never obtrusive, capturing the essence of the moment, a storyteller with a camera. Every story is not only a memory of life’s journey, but God’s blessing. MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE . . . reflects the individuality and emotion in each image. I capture people and things as they truly are in ‘Real-Life’. Holding my camera in anticipation waiting to capture people ‘Alive’, in the ‘Now’ and their ‘Soul’ is my style to show an overview of the way their event unfolded. I consider myself as the non-traditional photographer - without the typical photographer's agenda. I focus on the client and committed to deliver a storytelling portfolio that highlights the event's best moments and expressions. ABOUT ME . . . enthusiasm and ambition propelled me into pursuing my photography passion. My enjoyment of photography began long before I knew it was truly part of who I am - in my soul. FROM THEN TO NOW . . . my children, (now adults) were my first models, for I would dress them up, sit them on the kitchen table and use blankets as backdrops. Through the years, I experimented with my camera while in my yard waiting for that perfect shot of the butterflies, flowers, or wait for that rainbow. When traveling, I delight in capturing adventure in my photos to share with everyone for years to come. In 2007, I was asked to photograph a wedding, by 2016, I have over 35 weddings as well as many other client requested sessions to contribute to my experience. I welcome every opportunity to photograph outdoors using natural lighting and the world as my backdrop. My family, friends, clients and nature are to thank for my experience and confidence.
